On April 12th 2019, the students of Merion Mercy Academy took part in the school’s annual field trip day. While each grade had an enjoyable and enriching experience, the seniors’ trip prevailed as the most exciting and anticipated––a day in New York City. Breaking off into groups, the seniors had an abundance of free time to explore the city with teacher and parent chaperones. They visited museums, had lunch at trendy spots, and shopped until they dropped! Once dinner came around, the seniors reconvened at Carmine’s for a delicious family style dinner. The eventful day came to a close with a showing of Mean Girls on Broadway, in which a Merion alumna starred. The show was hilariously entertaining, and a great way to end a fun-filled day. Senior Katrina Carpizo calls it, “a day to remember.” The New York City trip is an essential part of senior year at Merion Mercy Academy, and one that the Class of 2019 will never forget.
