DIY Christmas Gift
“It’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.” Mother Teresa
Tis the season of giving! Christmas is here, and that means it’s time to prepare gifts for friends and family. Buying all of your gifts may be pricey, so why not try a holiday DIY? This adorable snowman makes the perfect gift, even for your advent angel. Hopefully, this DIY makes you feel crafty with Christmas cheer!
Materials:
- 1 white sock
- 1 colored sock
- Rice
- Elastic bands (2)
- Glue gun
- Buttons
- Sharpie
- Ribbon
- Pom poms (preferably orange)
Steps:
- Fill the white sock with rice until it is the desirable size for the snowman and then use an elastic to tie off the excess sock and cut it. Once filled, take an elastic and tie it in the middle of the sock to divide the head and body. Your sock should now be similar to the shape of a snowman.
- Hot glue two or three buttons to the stomach of the snowman.
- Use a sharpie to draw the eyes and mouth of the snowman. Then, hot glue an orange pom pom as the nose.
- Cut a piece of ribbon and glue it around the snowman’s neck to act as a scarf.
- Take the colorful sock and cut off the toe area. This will act as a hat for the snowman. Feel free to glue extra pom poms on it for decoration!
- Enjoy your cute sock snowman!
