Father Daughter Dance

On the evening of February 8th, Merion students celebrated a fun-filled night with their fathers/guests at the annual Father-Daughter Dinner Dance.  Held at the Drexelbrook in Drexel Hill, PA, the evening began with a few brief opening remarks and a prayer led by Mr. Pidot. Attendees enjoyed a delicious buffet-style dinner, followed by a make-your-own ice cream bar for dessert.  Throughout the event, fathers and daughters hit the dance floor to strut their stuff to a variety of music genres performed by Del’s Groove, a twelve-piece live band that is no stranger to the event. The band played various “oldies but goodies,” perfectly suited for a crowd of mixed generations to dance and sing along.    With over 250 in attendance, the night was not only fun, but a huge success. And to capture the memory, attendees were provided professional photographs by Lifetouch Portraits.
